The WB was a television network production company owned by the Warner Brothers Corporation. In 2004 the WB announced the creation of a new Dark Shadows television series slated to fill the vacuum left behind by the absence of another popular vampire series, the Joss Whedon helmed program known as Angel. The project was later canceled with no further plans scheduled to revive the series.
