Michael Cavanaugh (born November 21, 1942) is an American actor who portrayed the roles of Sheriff George Patterson and Andre Du Pres on the 1991 NBC Dark Shadows revival series.

Before Dark Shadows Edit

Michael was a regular on the cult science fiction series Starman (1986-1987), as well as appearing in high profile films The Enforcer, The Gauntlet , Any Which Way You Can, Forced Vengeance and many others. He has made regular appearances in hundreds of television shows and telemovies throughout his career.
