Joel Crothers

Joel Crothers (January 28, 1941 – November 6, 1985) played Joe Haskell in the original Dark Shadows. Besides Joe Haskell, he played Lt. Nathan Forbes in the 1795 storyline.

Crothers began acting young--at the age of nine. His first Broadway role was in The Remarkable Mr. Pennypacker. He was one of the actors to play Paul Bratter in Barefoot in the Park. Crothers graduated from Harvard. He had roles on Santa Barbara, The Edge of Night, Somerset, and The Secret Storm.
