Seth was a deputy with the Collinsport Sheriff's department under Sheriff George Patterson. He was one of the officers on the scene to investigate the Nancy Hodiak murder. Seth was on a first-name basis with Todd Blake and was one of the officers present when Todd's fiancée, Carolyn Stoddard was transformed into a vampire.
