Gypsies

A gypsy is a member of a traveling group, or tribe. They are usually people with dark skin and hair who traditionally live by seasonal work, itinerant trade, and fortune-telling.

The gypsy society is structured according to rules of its own, and is divided into clans or tribes led by the King of the Gypsies. Some, however, deny and renounce their origins to create a life outside of the gypsy community in order to escape prejudice that people have against them. It is the case of Jenny Collins, late wife of Quentin Collins, who hid her gypsy heritage.

Gypsies are very religious and superstitious people, with great knowledge of the supernatural and the magical arts. They are also able to cast spells and curses like witches and warlocks, as well as to divine the future like psychics although most of the time, they prefer to stage scams for their own personal gain.

Despite living off extortion and robbery, gypsies have a great sense of honour and they hold very high vows and promises. Because they are a knit group of outcasts, they also value family ties and friendship and believe in avenge any harm against them.
