Maggie remembers more about what happened a year ago to her when Barnabas held her captive.
Synopsis[]
- A cloudy, windless night, and those who sleep in the great house at Collinwood do not dream their lives are in danger. But two men know, and in the Old House on the estate, they meet. And one who six months ago did not even know his name is now giving the orders.
Maggie recognizes that she is being held in the Collins Mausoleum, but Willie still refuses to let her go. Maggie tells Willie that she hates him, and will never forgive him. This visibly upsets Willie, but he is unable to explain why he had to kidnap her. He drugs Maggie so he can leave to get food.
Adam tells Barnabas that Carolyn will provide the life force.

- TIMELINE: This is the third consecutive episode of the long night sequence that started in 585. Adam wants the experiment to commence tomorrow night. Adam did not know his name "six months ago."
Bloopers and continuity errors[]
- The shadow of the boom mic, then the mic itself, is visible in the scene with Barnabas and Adam.
- Robert Rodan starts to step on Jonathan Frid's lines during Act I. Barnabas: What if she does refuse? Adam: She will... Barnabas: What's to stop her from talking? Adam: She will not, Barnabas.
- After Nicholas announces to Adam that Maggie will be freed tonight, the scene shifts to Maggie in the mausoleum. Someone in the studio whistles lowly and then snaps their fingers, seemingly to let Kathryn Leigh Scott know to start the scene as, with Maggie sleeping, her eyes are closed.
- A boom mic shadow can be seen on the table and chair during Maggie's dream sequence.
