Donald Briscoe (March 20, 1940 - October 31, 2004) joined Dark Shadows in August 1968 playing Tom Jennings, a handyman who became a vampire.
Briscoe later played Tom's twin brother Chris Jennings, a werewolf; Tim Shaw in the 1897 storyline; and Chris Collins, the family lawyer, in the Parallel Time 1970 storyline before leaving the show in April 1970 due to personal problems. Despite his long tenure on the show, his character is given only passing mention after he leaves (1075).
He relocated to Memphis, Tenneessee until he died from heart disease in 2004 at age 64.
