W. E. Daniel "Dan" Ross (1912-1995) was a prolific Canadian novelist who, under a number of pseudonyms, wrote over 300 books in several genres. As Marilyn Ross (his wife's name) he was the author of the Paperback Library series of Dark Shadows novels, including the novelization of the film House of Dark Shadows.
