Clarice Blackburn

Clarice Blackburn (February 26th 1921 - August 5th 1995) played the roles of Mrs. Sarah Johnson. Abigail Collins and Minerva Trask on the original Dark Shadows. She also played the part of Mrs. Castle in the MGM movie, Night of Dark Shadows.
Blackburn appeared in several Broadway plays including the original version of The Desk Set. She acted in several soap operas including The Secret Storm, Where the Heart Is, One Life to Live, As the World Turns, and The Guiding Light. She later wrote for All My Children and Love of Life.
