Charles Dana Gibson was a noted artist from Bar Harbor, Maine, during the early 1900s. He married a southern model named Irene Langhorne whom he used in almost all of his work. Irene was known for her exceptional beauty.

In 1967, Henry Collins once compared Victoria Winters to a Gibson girl.

Notes Edit

Although records indicate that Charles lived in Bar Harbor, as early as 1916, the town of Bar Harbor was actually known as Eden until it was changed to Bar Harbor in 1918.
