Carrie Stokes was the granddaughter of Ben Stokes. She was living in Collinwood when he died in 1840.

Barnabas Collins and Dr. Julia Hoffman first saw Carrie Stokes in 1995 as a ghost who was dancing a minuet with Tad Collins, whom they initially thought was David Collins (1065/1066). They later mistook her for Hallie Stokes when they met her back in 1970 (1070).
