Alice Drummond (May 21, 1928-November 30, 2016), Born "Alice Elizabeth Ruyter" in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, played the role of Nurse Jackson in 265, 276, 283 and 294.

She was a member of the cast of the CBS soap opera Where the Heart Is (1969-1973), along with other Dark Shadows cast members Clarise Blackburn, Lisa Richards, and Diana Walker.

She is best remembered as the frightened librarian at the beginning of Ghostbusters (1984), Ray Finkle's eccentric mother in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994) and Clara the quiet local in To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar (1995).

She was nominated for a 1970 Tony Award as Best Supporting or Featured Actress for The Chinese and Dr. Fish.
